SafeScreens is a campaign brand of UsForThem Limited, which is a UK private limited company. This Privacy Policy applies to you as a user of this website, which is owned and maintained by UsForThem Limited. 

References in this Privacy Policy to ‘you’ are to you as a user of this website, and references to ‘we’ are to UsForThem Limited.

We shall process any personal data collected through your use of this website in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  UsForThem Limited is the data controller of any personal data collected or processed through this website.

The only data that we collect from you is:

We will hold and process any personal data that you provide to us in accordance with applicable UK data law, and in particular with the UK GDPR.

If you choose to provide us with your name and contact information by signing up to receive communications from our SafeScreens campaign or if you otherwise provide that information to us by contacting us, in pursuance of our legitimate interests we may use that personal data to send you information about our campaigns, and to provide news and other updates that we believe may interest you, potentially including news about other campaigns. We may also process your personal data if we consider that we are obliged by law to do so.

We may also make use of data that you provide to us, or which we have collected automatically when you access the website, when we carry out internal analysis of the ways in which we can best present information on our website to engage with our supporters.

UsForThem is a non-profit organisation. We will not sell your personal data to any other organisation and we will not seek to profit from your personal data.  We will only pass your personal data to a third party organisation or public authority if we are obliged by law to do so.

How we store personal data

If you choose to provide us with your name and contact details, we will store this data securely, and we shall only retain it for as long as is necessary to perform the functions described above, or until you ask us to delete it. You can ask us to remove your personal data from our database at any time by contacting us at hello@safescreens.org.

  • You can ask us for copies of your personal data.
