There is much in the news about the impact of screens on school readiness, children’s speech and language development, concentration in class and the regulation of their emotions.
As a family we do our best to limit screentime at home and [I/we] wondered if you share our concerns about the impact of screentime on children, and whether the school is taking steps to monitor the outcomes for learning, behaviour and attainment of the use of personal devices, screens and EdTech platforms in classrooms and for homework?
[I/We] would welcome the opportunity to have a conversation with you about the role of technology in teaching and learning, and how using technology in the classroom and at home benefits pupils.
